Cloud9 and Renegades have won one map each in the last match of Group A's round robin (Train 16-7, Cobblestone 11-16) at ELEAGUE.

Renegades and Cloud9 played the final best-of-two of ELEAGUE's Group A, which was practically a pre-match of tomorrow's semi-final between the two, as the top and bottom seed have already been determined.

Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip kicked things off in style on Train, as he nearly took a 1v4 to his name as he attempted to defend the dropped bomb on the B bombsite as CT, but eventually fell to the last player.

However, his team made up for it in the following round, and two more afterwards as they won a forcebuy quite comfortably. Renegades then showed up with five rounds in a row, breaking their opponent's economy twice during their run to a 6-3 lead. 

From there on, it was all Cloud9 until the end of the half, as Stewie2K and Alec "⁠Slemmy⁠" White put up the numbers to take a 9-6 half. The youngster and veteran Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert then combined with doubles to take the second pistol, extending their lead to 14-6. It didn't take long before the map came to a close as the North American lineup picked up a 16-7 victory on map one.

Cobblestone followed as map two, this time with Cloud9 getting a 3-0 lead despite a scary quad-kill from Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage in the second-round forcebuy. Renegades decided to force it up again in the fourth round and won it, but Stewie2K's 1v1 win put them up against a three-round deficit again.

However, great offensive play from the Australians gave them seven rounds in a row, most of which went their way in a comfortable manner, before Cloud9 put in three rounds at the end, making it 8-7 in favor of Renegades.

Another pistol round win for Slemmy and company saw them retaking the lead and their four MAC-10's in the first gunround nearly worked, as Mike "⁠shroud⁠" Grzesiek was close to winning a 1v3 while Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac got four kills and the final 1v1.

Out of the remaining rounds, Renegades managed to only drop one, winning the second map at 16-11.
